You will need a measuring tape, pencil and calculator. Make sure the measurements are accurate, to the nearest millimetre. Determine the starting point by selecting a wall - 'wall one'. Then work to the right to measure every wall.
You also need to know the measurements of all appliances to incorporate into the kitchen design.
Appliances to consider are oven, cook top and range hood, hot water system, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator plus the kitchen sink and taps. Depending on the amount of space available, you may be limited when selecting appliances.
