What tools do I need to work with plywood?

Plywood is manufactured with timber veneers and as a result has most of the properties that solid timber does.

For the average D.I.Y. or home handy person specialised equipment is not always required. Basic tools can be used including saw, hammer, drill, tape measure, pencil, set square and spirit level. Depending on the project other tools might be required and sometimes pre-drilling is suggested.

Plywood can be sawn, drilled, shaped, nailed, routered, screwed and glued.
