Hint: How to make the most of a small kitchen

1. Create more bench space:

Get more space on your bench top by installing a wall shelf at shoulder height for your microwave.

2. Extension bench:

Get really clever & install a bench that pulls out like a drawer from under the existing workbench.

3. Lighten up the kitchen:

Install a skylight. Decorate your kitchen with lighter colours. This will create a sense of space.

4. Create more storage:

Fit narrow metal racks & hooks to the insides of cupboard doors to store smaller objects.

5. Utilise portable trolleys:

Fill open spaces under workbenches with storage units on castors or portable trolleys.
